Best News Ever
The best news you'll ever get or give. Jesus says in John 3:16 says that "whosoever believes in me shall not perish but have everlasting life" That's pretty good news right? How do you share this great news? Are you even willing to share this great news with people? There are different ways to share this good news but one of the examples I love is found in John 4. It's the story of Jesus intentionally going off traveled path in order to cross paths with a Samaritan woman at a well. From there Jesus simply had a conversation with a woman who was thirsty for the "best news she'd ever get " and He knew it. Her life was forever changed.
So how can we be like more like that? How can we be intentional about sharing the "best news ever" with the people we run across? Not everyone is comfortable sharing with others so sharing the "great news " verbally can be a challenge. So maybe sharing verbally isn't the only way...The one thing we all do everyday we wake up is live our lives. Yes...how are you living your life? Are you living out the great news for all to see...that doesn't take any words...until someone ask you the question at which point you probably should be ready with the answers. So, do you believe that the life you live just might be the only way someone might find Jesus? No pressure huh.
1Peter1:8-9 says "though you have not seen him, you love Him; and even though you do not see Him now, you believe in Him and are filled with an inexpressible and glorious joy, for you are receiving the end result of your faith, the salvation of your souls."
I pray that each of us starts thinking about how we can best share the "best news ever"
